If you like to have a beverage ever so often, keep your cash out of the casino if you set out to do your consuming in a casino. I’m serious. Empty your handbag, your wallet, and keep all money, plastic credit and chequebooks out of the casino. Pack only the money you expect to spend on refreshments, tipping and few dollars you expect to throw away and leave the rest behind.
Contemptuous? Not really. Realistic more like. You could have a win after a drunken evening out with your compatriots and be blessed sufficiently to catch a marathon toss at a on fire craps table. Keep that account considering that it is as short-lived as it gets if you continuously drink alcohol and wager. The pair just don’t go well together.
Leaving your cash back at the hotel is a little bit excessive, but preventative measures for dramatic behavior is required. If you wager to win, then do not consume alcohol and play. If you are able to afford to burn your $$$$ without a worry, then drink all the complimentary beer you are able to handle, but don’t take credit cards and cheques to toss into the mix of chasing losses after your inebriated self loses all the cash!
Let me to carry this one step further. Don’t consume alcohol and then hop on to the internet to wager in your preferred internet casino either. I enjoy a beer from the comfort of my condominium, but due to the fact that I am connected through Neteller, Firepay and have charge cards at my fingertips, I can’t consume alcohol and gamble.
What’s the reason? Although I don’t drink alcohol a lot, when I drink alcohol, it’s absolutely adequate to cloud my judgment. I gamble, so I do not consume alcohol when wagering. If you are a drinker, don’t wager at the same time. The two mix up for a dangerous, and costly, drink.
