I have been gambling online or at land based gambling halls for a great many years. I have learned, the fixation can grab a hold of you and you will not even notice it until you are broke. Especially if you are on a run. I have been through many hundreds of dollars in a very little period of time and even still on occasion, I can go a bit too long. It seems you are only having a blast up until you make a choice to pay attention to your losses and the guilt settles in, and then you keep telling yourself "I could win it back" a number of times. It doesn’t work. Then you get icky in your gut and the harder you try the faster you throw away.
When you observe that you are up, STAY in the Black! When you start to squander, do not tell yourself, "well just maybe one more" and again and again, trust me, this method barely ever works. Say you are betting on slot machine games, keep an amount set aside before starting your gaming. DO NOT go over that cap, no matter how tempting. If you happen to profit, put the winnings in an alternate pot. Do not wager your winnings at any cost. After you have played through your initial set limit, stop. Leave, regardless if it is on the internet or at a land based gambling hall, don’t stick around. At all times keep in mind, there certainly is another day, another time. Obviously, this technique is able to work for any casino game that you play, be it bingo, poker, video poker, keno, blackjack or any other game.
Keep in mind, betting should be delightful not demanding, appalling work! If you are not enjoying yourself, you don’t belong there. If you cannot pay for the hit, do not even begin.
