Gaming supervisors oversee gaming operations and workers in an assigned area. Circulating among the table games, they ensure that all stations and games are manned for each shift. It also is accepted for supervisors to interpret the casino’s operating laws for clients. Supervisors can also plan and organize activities for guests staying in their casino hotels.

Gaming supervisors must have certain leadership qualities and great communication skills. Regardless of their educational background, however, almost all supervisors gain experience in other gaming occupations before moving into supervisory areas because an understanding of games and casino operations is quite essential for these workers.
