If you enjoy having a a drink every now and then, keep your money at home if you set out to do your consuming in a casino. I’m serious. Clean out your handbag, your billfold, and leave all cash, credit cards and chequebooks at home. Pack whatever money you expect to spend on alcohol, tipping and few dollars you expect to lose and leave the remainder behind.
Pessimistic? Not at all. Just realistic. You may well have a profit after a boozy evening out with your comrades and be lucky enough to hit a marathon toss at a smokin craps game. Keep that adventure seeing that it is as brief as it gets if you continuously drink alcohol and gamble. The two simply don’t go well together.
Leaving your moolah back at the hotel might be a bit dramatic, but precautionary actions for drastic actions is required. If you gamble to succeed, then don’t drink and bet. If you like to be wasteful with your cash nary a worry, then consume all the no charge beer your stomach can handle, but do not take plastic credit and cheques to throw into the mix of going after losses after your drunk as a skunk brain loses every little thing!
Permit me to take this a single step more. do not drink alcohol and then hop on to the internet to gamble in your preferred casino either. I love to drink from the comfort of my condo, but seeing that I am connected through Neteller, Firepay and keep plastic credit near by, I can not consume alcohol and gamble.
How come? Although I don’t drink alcohol to excess, when I consume alcohol, it’s certainly sufficient to befuddle my better judgment. I bet, so I don’t drink when wagering. If you are a drinker, do not bet when you do. Both make for a decimating, and expensive, cocktail.
