If you enjoy a drink from time to time, leave your cash out of the casino if you are going to do your consuming in a casino. I’m serious. Clean out your evening bag, your billfold, and leave all money, charge cards and cheques at home. Only take only the cash you anticipate to spend on refreshments, tipping and few dollars you intend to lose and keep the rest behind.
Contemptuous? Not at all. Realistic more like. You may well experience a success after a drunken night out with your acquaintances and be lucky enough to hit a 25 minute toss at a hot craps table. Keep that adventure seeing that it’s as short-lived as it gets if you consistently drink alcohol and wager. The pair just don’t go well together.
Leaving your cash back at the hotel is a little drastic, but precautionary measures for excessive behavior is essential. If you gamble to win, then don’t drink and gamble. If you like to toss aside your $$$$ nary a worry, then drink all the gratuitous alcohol your stomach are able to handle, but do not pack credit cards and chequebooks to toss into the mix of going after losses after your inebriated head throws away every little thing!
Allow me to take this a single step further. Don’t drink alcohol and then jump online to bet in your preferred casino either. I enjoy a cocktail from the comfort of my condominium, but because I’m connected through Neteller, Firepay and have credit cards in close proximity, I can not drink and wager.
Why? Despite the fact that I don’t consume alcohol a lot, once I drink alcohol, it’s clearly enough to blur my judgment. I gamble, so I do not consume alcohol when gambling. If you are a drinker, don’t bet at the same time. Both make for a dangerous, and costly, cocktail.
